  2. Outrageous, you're using Blogger.com! Next time around you'll need to use WordPress.com. I am Jenny Lebens' son and I work for Automattic, the parent company of WordPress, so happy to lend a hand ;)

Looks like you're all in for an adventure and having quite a trip! I'll keep track of your progress on here and no doubt through regular updates from my Mum.

  3. In sunny Prince George and the car park looks great, especially as the '0' car is in the middle.....The one car we all don't want to drive.
Loads of happy/unhappy chaps with their bonnets (or should I say hoods) up, getting their hands dirty and chatting with new/old chums about the workings of their beloved cars.
Ed has found a water tap and is busy cleaning - will this start the usual BCD rush to get beloved clean?

  10. Been following the daily journals and pictures for awhile now. Enjoyed meeting the bunch of you in Chetwynd. What a fantastic trip!!:) May have to plan such a trip with some friends and old cars (although not as old as yours).

Been reading thru the site and the Car Photo Gallery with names and car descriptions. Can someone PLEASE explain the following motor size descriptions: 3/4.5 litre, 3/4 litre (surely not), 3/8 litre, 4/8 litre(why not 1/2), 6/8 litre, and 3 1/2 litre. I can't believe that those measurements are what they appear to be. I'm sure the motors are much bigger. Thanks for your help here and Keep enjoying yourselves. My best wishes for sunnier weather now that you are on Vancouver Island.

  11. Hi Smokey,
it has to do with chassis type and engine f.i.
3 litre chassis with a 4,5 litre engine= 3/4,5. Except the last one which is a Derby made car who has really a 3,5 engine.

  12. It was wonderful to meet some of you at Harry and Shirley's. I really enjoyed chatting with Mrs. Ward, someone who is truly enjoying life. I must commend you all for bringing your magnificent cars to our province from so far away. It was such a pleasure to see these museum quality machines being used in the manner for which they were built. Best wishes for the remainder of your tour.
    Kyle.

  13. I am looking forward to seeing some of you at the "USA Fall Tour" starting this coming Friday. It will be a walk in the park compared to Alaska but should be fun.
While at " Scottish Whit 50" last year my Yank accent was detected. Being the only BDC member in Ellicott City, sans Bentley more`s the pity, I was asked to assist a tiny bit in routing through Maryland. Thus, the quaint little village of Ellicott City became the kick-off point.
The Alaska Tour must have been staggeringly fun! Great photos.
